(AP Photo/Richard Drew, File) Family Research Council President Tony Perkins called for RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel to step down after she recently formed a “Pride Coalition” with the Log Cabin Republicans.
Perkins believes that if the Republican Party continues down this path it will lose votes from Christians and social conservatives. He claimed that McDaniel apparently took this step “on her own,” without consulting RNC leaders.
