Another North Carolina county has adopted a resolution calling for restored legal protections for unborn babies.
On Monday, the Stokes County Commissioners approved a resolution supporting a heartbeat bill in North Carolina, The Stokes News reports . The legislation would prohibit almost all abortions in the state by banning the killing of unborn babies once their heartbeat is detectable, about six weeks of pregnancy.
