Those who have been following my work for a while know I like to diversify my venues. Call it paranoia. Call it not wanting to bow to the wokesters in Big Tech. I’ve maintained at least five or six sites at any given time for the past three years because I never wanted to be cancelled into journalistic oblivion.
I’ve decided to revive this particular domain. The funny part is I did it because another site was shut down. No, it wasn’t one of mine. It isn’t even a conservative site. In fact, it is (WAS) as leftist as they come. The demise of Buzzfeed News reminded me that there really is no need to be concerned about cancel culture anymore.
How did I come to that conclusion? Because leftist media is struggling. Sure, there are those who are finding success but they’re few and far between. They don’t have time to go to war with their conservative counterparts the way they once did. I’ve made so many leftist journalists upset over the years that they’ve had me canceled on Google, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube… all the places I no longer care about whatsoever.
So, the downfall of Buzzfeed News was my wakeup call to look at some of my older properties and see if there’s any play on them now. This is my first revived site. It may not be the last, but for now I’m going to publish here as my backup to see how it goes.
