Harris’s Pennsylvania ads, aimed at Jewish voters, prominently feature her stance on Israel. A Facebook advertisement showcases footage from her speech at a Democratic National Committee event, where she vocally supports “Israel’s right to defend itself.” This messaging shows her “alignment” with pro-Israel sentiment, a topic of particular interest to Pennsylvania’s Jewish population as the conflict between Israel and Hamas continues to dominate international headlines.
“And let me be clear,” Harris said in the ad featured in Pennsylvania. “I will always stand up for Israel’s right to defend itself, and I will always ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself, because the people of Israel must never again face the horror that a terrorist organization called Hamas caused on October 7, including unspeakable sexual violence and the massacre of young people at a music festival.”
