Jack Posobiec pushed for the SAVE Act to be included in Congress’ September spending bill on Tuesday’s episode of Human Events Daily. He began the show by asking a simple question to his audience: Should illegal aliens be able to vote in any election in America?
He went on to describe how immigrants are essentially able to do so in many states at the moment due to the lack of identification checks and procedures that should be put in place to prevent them from voting. The solution, he stated, is to pass the SAVE Act, or the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, which would allow only eligible citizens to register to vote. All voters would need to show documentary proof of citizenship when they register. Additionally, it would require states to purge non-citizens from voter rolls and queue them for deportation.
