Ohio Senator JD Vance has taken a different approach in preparation for his upcoming vice-presidential debate against Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.
Unlike his opponent, Vance confidently stated he doesn’t need extensive preparation. “We have well-developed views on public policy, so we don’t have to prepare that much,” Vance remarked in a press call Wednesday, as reported by The New York Post.
Walz, on the other hand, seems to be taking a more traditional route, opting for a “multiday debate camp” in rural Michigan this week. According to The New York Times, the Minnesota governor is putting in long hours to get ready for the CBS News-hosted debate set for October 1 in New York.
Meanwhile, Vance is steering clear of any pre-debate boot camps or crash courses. “We’re not planning to do anything similar,” he stated. Vance’s focus is on highlighting former President Donald Trump’s policies, contrasting them with what he sees as Vice President Kamala Harris’ failures. […]
