A North Dakota man was arrested and charged for allegedly impersonating an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer and taking a prisoner out of a county jail.
Shane Al Randall, of Williston, was charged with impersonating an official, which is considered a misdemeanor.
The Williams County Correctional Center in Williston had informed the inmate that ICE was going to pick him up. After that, the prisoner called Randall for help.
Randall falsely claimed he was from ICE upon his arrival and the staff turned over the inmate to him.
