Joe Biden is a vile person.
He finally came back from his never-ending vacation on Monday, to meet with Kamala Harris and the ceasefire negotiating team in the situation room. He was asked if he thought Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had done enough as he was going into the meeting. His disgusting answer was “No.”
Hamas just shot six hostages, including Hersh Goldberg-Polin in execution style, and Biden’s answer is to disparage Netanyahu. Biden and Harris have spent more time criticizing Israel’s response than standing up for Americans and taking action after Hamas killed Americans on Oct. 7 and then took them hostage. Biden has done nothing to put the fear of God into the terrorists. Indeed, all he has done is give them hope and reason to think they can hold out because of his pressure on Israel. And that’s because he’s trying to appeal to the left to help Democrats in the election. So it’s a particularly loathsome reason for his words.
It’s Biden and Harris who “haven’t done enough.” In fact, they’ve stood in the way of Netanyahu trying to get to the hostages and finish off Hamas by trying to stop them from going into Rafah, where the six hostages were found murdered. He said they were “very close to a deal” which is the same thing he has been saying for months.He said “hopes springs eternal” which sounded like he had nothing.
