New York-based author Fran Lebowitz called on President Biden to dissolve the Supreme Court during an unhinged appearance on “Real Time with Bill Maher.”
Lebowitz prefaced her rant on a false interpretation of the Supreme Court’s ruling on presidential immunity, which granted immunity from prosecution to members of the executive branch for official acts. Left-wing pundits and lawmakers have for weeks falsely claimed that the ruling transforms the presidency into a dictatorship and will allow Trump to do whatever he wants.
“You know, the Democrats had, like, elected people. The Supreme Court is completely his, you know. I mean, it’s so disgraceful, this court, that it shouldn’t even be allowed to be called the Supreme Court,” Lebowitz said, at which point the crowd erupted into a round of applause.
