With temperatures around -30°, I felt inclined to see if the AR-15 or AK-47 would fair better as well as a Glock or a HK USP Compact DA/SA 9mm.
This weather was so cold that I had multiple equipment failures that were not firearm related. My phone/camera froze at one point and deleted some video footage, my microphone would not work correctly and my tripod kept shifting. But, the firearms information gained from this test was at the very least interesting if not predictable. I wanted to do this for my own benefit but figured I might as well document it and share the results.
