  • Filmmaker Jeremy Corbell obtained secret documents allegedly left by a deceased LANL cybersecurity chief, which claim to prove a classified UFO study program.
  • The files, found by the official’s son, include internal memos, scientific reports and historic images like Polaroids from famous UFO cases.
  • Materials reference studies of atmospheric anomalies and specific incidents, such as the Gulf Breeze sightings, with detailed witness accounts and photos.
  • Corbell states he verified the documents and says they confirm high-level, secret government interest in UFOs, despite risks to whistleblowers.
  • While unverified by authorities, the leak suggests a long-hidden program at the secretive nuclear research facility, challenging official transparency efforts.

(Natural News)—In a revelation that seems ripped from a conspiracy thriller, secret documents allegedly left behind by a senior cybersecurity official at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) has surfaced, claiming to provide 100% proof of a long-running, classified government program to study Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO).

The files, now in the hands of investigative filmmaker Jeremy Corbell, were reportedly discovered by the official’s son, identified only as “Johnny,” while sorting through his late father’s personal effects. The identities of both the deceased LANL cybersecurity chief and his son are being withheld for privacy and safety reasons.

According to Corbell, the cache includes internal memos, scientific reports and historic images that point to serious, high-level government inquiry into the UFO phenomenon. “This is a real scientific study at the classified level within our military of UFOs,” Corbell stated. “Los Alamos was always a place where there were elements of the study of the UFO phenomenon. These documents are 100 percent proof that Los Alamos was taking it very seriously.”

The alleged discovery adds a dramatic new layer to LANL’s enigmatic history. The laboratory, located approximately 35 miles northwest of Santa Fe, New Mexico, is famed for its role in developing the atomic bomb and remains a hub for top-secret nuclear research. It has long been a focal point in UFO lore, particularly due to a wave of sightings in the late 1940s near New Mexico’s sensitive atomic sites, including reports of mysterious green fireballs.

Corbell, who features the material in his upcoming documentary “Sleeping Dog,” said the son found files labeled with references to atmospheric anomalies. In a recorded phone call, Johnny told Corbell the files included official documents from the lab that talk about meetings they had about atmospheric anomalies and contained some information in there about Russian sightings.

The journalist described the contents as staggering in scope: “I mean, everything from original Polaroids of very studied UFO cases throughout history, to internal memos and documents of when they have meetings and they’re discussing this at a high-level government capacity.”

Whistleblowers have been squeezed

Shared samples include apparent documentation of the famed Gulf Breeze sightings in Florida between 1987 and 1991, contained in a file titled Illustrations and Photos by the Gulf Breeze Witness. The materials detail repeated witness accounts of disc-shaped craft with bright lights and portholes, estimated to be up to 120 feet wide, hovering silently. Photographs attributed to key witness Ed Walters show glowing objects with unusual visual characteristics, supporting claims of sustained activity over several years.

The files also contain images of saucer-like craft, crop circles and a cylindrical UFO. Corbell noted he recognized names of scientists listed in the documents whom he had previously encountered but who had never disclosed involvement in such studies.

Corbell claims to have spent years verifying the authenticity of the materials, stating, “I’ve researched them down. I’ve gone to every single author that I could find that’s still alive.” While acknowledging the documents may not sway hardened skeptics, he insists they confirm a pattern of secrecy. “There’s nothing I would say revelatory to me in these documents, but it’s confirmation that I’m on the right track,” he said.

He also issued a sobering warning about the risks of exposing such information, noting that whistleblowers connected to classified programs often face pressure. “There have been some situations that give everybody pause. Whistleblowers have been squeezed,” Corbell stated.

The U.S. government has recently shown increased transparency regarding Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), with the Pentagon establishing official reporting channels. However, this alleged leak suggests a deeper, older program rooted in America’s most secretive nuclear research facility.

As noted by BrightU.AI‘s Enoch, UAP is the contemporary term for observations in the sky that cannot be immediately identified as known aircraft or natural phenomena. It encompasses the broader concept historically referred to as UFOs, or unidentified flying objects.

LANL has not publicly commented on the specific allegations. The claims, while unverified by independent authorities, are poised to fuel further debate and scrutiny as Corbell’s documentary brings them to a global audience, challenging official narratives and asking what has truly been studied behind the classified walls of Los Alamos for decades.
